Includes, free play, circle time with songs, stories and rhymes. Connect with other parents.

Falling leaves sensory bin, coloring changing science activities and pumpkin carving craft.

Fridays - Family Play Night

Enjoy some wonderful family time spent doing crafts and games! Please call 403-334-0884 to register! You do not have to attend every session however we need enough people interested to run a program

Baby Play is for parents & babies

Wednesdays Oct 17th - Nov. 21st, in the Drumheller Library

1:00-2:30pm. Register at 403-820-5157

  • Welcomes & we will fill out the “ages & stages questionnaire”. We will also have fun making a clay impression of your baby’s feet.
  • Lisa Suave will talk about the Healthy Families program.
  • Cindy Law - from Family Literacy, will share about “Early Literacy”

Children’s Rehabilitation services - Speech 

Maryke Moody, Community Dietitian will be available to answer questions about foods for babies and healthy eating.

  • Final sessions - Pick up “baby impressions’’ and enjoy a “Potluck snack” Wind-up Party

 

Triple P Discussion: Managing Fighting & Aggression

October 18, 5:30-7:30pm

Elim Building

Provides parents and caregivers with strategies and info to help them feel confident in dealing with misbehavior.

Family Fun Presents: The Great Pumpkin Hunt

October 27, 2:00-4:00pm

Badlands Community Facility

Hunt for a Pumpkin (1 per family) and then decorate it inside the BCF. MUST register to ensure a pumpkin is hidden for your family - call Kim at 403-823-1369.

Parent Link has a series of Triple P Parenting Tip Sheets designed to give parents and caregivers practical advice on positive approaches to parenting, a wide variety of common behavior difficulties and development concerns. Please talk to our parent educator for Tip Sheets on infants, toddlers, preschoolers and general parenting issues.

Ages & Stages Questionnaires
